A film about Vienna at the turn of the Century

34 artists, gallery owners and exhibition organizers are the actors in this satyrical film about Vienna at the turn of the century. It is mainly the story of a friendship between the Austrian painter Richard Gerstl and the composer Arnold Schönberrg. It broke up when the composer´s wife Mathilde fell in love with the painter and had an affair with him… the 25 year old Gerstl committed suicide in 1908…
